I have Spring fever and it just might snow

I have officially taken down the winter/valentine decorations and started to break out the spring décor.
For me that is a first (and probably the last) time I’ve had ANY decorations up more than the week before a holiday or season. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a blizzard tomorrow!!
Some decorations are old like the eggs (these are all real eggs that I store from year to year) 13 dozen and counting. Only one broke from last year.

And if you are wondering what to do with Wellies that no one wears any longer how about a holder for your (not yet blooming) forsythia?

What is your most unusual vase?
Stay tuned…..

  3. Thanks for your comments!!
I know a blue plaid pair are sleeping in someone's closet in our home now if I can just figure out how to use them without a certain somone noticing.
A lady at work wore a pair of polka-dot wellies...would really like to find a pair of those for the porch.

  4. I did this with Samantha's orange boots and put them out on the patio. However, many earwig bugs thought it was a great place to spend the summer! So I don't leave them outside anymore. I keep them in the office/guest room.

  7. I have seen those polka dot wellies at Target.
Maybe you could tackle that certain someone and twist her arm until she says "uncle" and hands them over to you!

  8. Love the boots! Always a fun idea.
I am presently doing up a pair of little girls pink rain boots with painted doodles and lace to place on my Easter tablescape. I will be filling with miniature tulips and babies breath.
