  1. hi!
love your blog title & banner!
colors are calm & not distracting.. simple and clean. only critique would be to place your 'about me' and archives at the top of your sidebar. and maybe consider altering the size of the sidebar to fit your pics.. or vice versa.
    enjoyed my visit!
    many blessings,
    -Tracie

  2. First, I don't even know your name... :)
I like your layout, the colors are nice. I like your header.
Now that you have experienced WLR, make sure you check the little box that says "open in new window" when you add a link. You want to keep your visitors on your page, not hunting for you with the back button.
Nice large pictures! I'll give you a chance to check out all the great things with WLR, if you need help or have questions, let me know. I can show you how to easily upload 10 pictures and have them sized centered and watermarked like magic!
    keep up the great work!

uh the dreaded word verification. I highly recomment you turn it off. Lots of bloggers don't like leaving comments if they have to do all that typing.

  3. I like your blog header and the photos in your posts are great.

It took me minute to find where to post a comment because it is right under the post title but now I know for next time.

I really enjoyed reading your blog, thanks for sharing :)

Oh, I am one of those people who hates word verification (my mind has a really hard time with them).

  4. Hello my dear....thank you so much for linking up to our little blog hop. I am thrilled that you took a risk and jumped in. I love the dynamic color scheme of your blog and I think it flows very well. My gentle suggestion is to move up the about you to the 1st thing on the right, follow it with your followers, and then your button. Time is crucial in getting and keeping followers. In fact they decide in less than 1 minute if they will follow...so entice them even more by making it all right there for them to utilize. :) Once again these are just gentle thoughts. I know that taking a risk and putting yourself out there is very scary, but you should feel so proud and empowered. I hope that you are not a no-reply when dealing with comments. I always love being able to respond to my bloggers. Also...if you need anything, Gail and I would love to help. Just let us know what we can do. :)

Have a great start to the week, and I hope this is the beginning of seeing more of you in the little blog world. :)

    Cheers~

  5. Hey there,, coming over from the bloghop.. very nice looking blog, pretty header. Love the colors. I didnt like that I had to do the word verfication to leave a comment though. Besides that you might want to move your about me section to the top (that was suggested on my blog too..i like it better there) so we'll know who we're visiting.
    Following your blog now.

  6. Thank you, Thank you everyone for all these great suggestions. This is my first Linky party and I'm enjoying all the kind words, suppport and suggestions.

There were a couple people who suggested similar ideas, I want to take the time here to address them. (let me know if I missed anyone).

Turned off the word verification. As a new blogger I didn't know if it was a good idea to have it in the off mode, now I know. Tks

A couple people suggested I move the "about me" up to the top. I did have it first but felt boastful. From you seasoned bloggers I am hearing it's not boastful but rather helpful to visitors. up it goes.

Now about the comments. I have tried over, and over to move the comments to the end of each post. I set it, save it and inevitibly when I log back in, it remains at the top. Suggestions??? I really prefer it at the end its where I find most comment sections on other blogs, it just seems logical.

Tracie suggested altering the sidebar to fit the pics. Foregive me I'm not sure I understand.

Your suggestions are so important to me since I'm new at this, I don't know anyone beyond the blogging world who blogs. In other words, no one in my circle blogs so I rely on all of you to keep me in the know.

Thanks again, keep the suggestions coming!!

  8. Thought I'd hop on over to your blog. :)

I like your background (very calming) and I like your button (super cute). I might would incorporate the look of your button throughout the rest of the blog.

One critique, I have a hard time reading your font because it is italicized.

Oh, I love that necklace and wreath in your header!
